Last night at our house was pizza night and I wanted to try somewhere new as nothing in my area had been spectacular so far. So I did what any good food blogger does and took to social media and asked people what their go to pizza place was. Michelle H and Emma M suggested Prime Pizza in Ringwood East (Thanks ladies) and after looking at their menu and also realizing that I had a coupon (SCORE) I ordered from there.
The shop itself was clean, bright, open and nice to walk into. Located across from the Ringwood East train station it is in a prime location! The service was a bit robotic and a smile and some warm interaction could of gone a long way but can be forgiven this time hehe..
I ordered a large Super supreme as that is what my hubby loves and when asked if I wanted anchovies it was a big OH YES!! The pizza had fresh capsicum, ham (sliced not shredded), kalamata olives, hot pepperoni, pineapple, mozzarella, mushroom, spanish onion ans tomato pizza sauce.
I also ordered a classic lamb pizza as I have a love obsession with lamb and just reading these ingredients made my mouth water. The pizza had braised lamb, garlic, mozzarella, oregano, spanish onion, spring onion, tomato and tomato pizza sauce.
Last but not least for Miss 14 I ordered a gluten free base four cheeses pizza. She is a bit cheese fan and the pizza did not fail with bocconcini, double mozzarella, feta, parmesan and garlic oil.
I was so so happy with all of the pizzas. The super supreme was all you want in a supreme with the power punch of the olives and anchovies, the classic lamb was a kebab lovers delight with the pizza tasting very similar to a kebab and the 4 cheeses gluten free pizza was cheesy and the base was delicious, unlike some other gluten free bases that I have tasted. All 5 of us in the house polished off the pizzas and I am sure if there was more we would of had that too!
So all up including the service, food, shop and cost (With coupon $34), I give Prime pizza in Ringwood East an 8/10!
