Last Thursday night Miss 15 and I needed to stop mid shopping to fuel our bodies for more shopping! Looking through the food court we decided to try Rice workshop. They had many options for a great price and much better for us than KFC!
Looking over the menu I was surprised to see delicious dishes such as Beef Udon, Tempura prawn Udon, Ramen, Teriyaki chicken and so much more! I chose Chicken Karaage with spicy mayo and Miss 15 had the Teriyaki chicken, both served with rice.
Silly me did not read the board properly and just thought it said mayo, I had no idea that it said spicy haha, and spicy it was. The taste was delicious and the chicken cooked perfectly, just very spicy! The let down was the rice as it was gluggy, sticky and overcooked.
The Teriyaki chicken was amazing and I seriously had food envy. But once again the rice was not nice at all!
The service was standard for a food court, pleasant and helpful. However the food could of been better and more meat and less rice..
All up I give The rice workshop at Eastland a 6.5 out of 10.
