Alice Nivens

Let me take you on a little trip down the rabbit hole. For years I have wanted to visit Alice Nivens but have either been on the other side of town or got there just on closing time. Finally though I opened that door to find where the adventure took me!

Located in Port Phillip arcade across from Flinders st station, Alice Nivens offers to take you to a wonderful place. With sweet treats to make your taste buds dance and coffee to make your mind buzz, Alice sets the scene for a magical experience.

When walking in you cannot help but notice the amazing wall art with a nod to Alice in wonderland, the magical pink cake and the shelve of sweet sugary treats. However being that it was morning I decided on a rather normal egg and bacon roll and a weak latte.

Sitting in the courtyard I was greeted by a little green bunny. As I drank my latte I pondered on the people that this little rabbit had met, the stories it could tell and the adventures of past and to come.

My latte was perfect and I could of had another one in no time, however my egg and bacon roll which I forgot to take a pic of was not the best. The bacon was okay however the egg was hard and really overcooked. I did not enjoy it at all. Maybe Alice specialises in sweets?

The service was lovely, friendly and fun, the decor magical, the coffee amazing and the food meh!

All up for Alice Nivens I give them a 7.5/10!

I’ve bean to Melbourne xx
